It's official now, Full Plate Thursday has just passed the Five Year mark. Wow, it is hard to believe that we have posted this party 260 times and now we are posting number 261. When I started Full Plate Thursday one of my goals was to show up every week at the same time and with Gods help and your encouragement I have been able to do that. Another goal was to leave a comment with each of you who would come to the party, and although the blogging community has moved away from that protocol, I still try to visit as many of you as I can, I love visiting all of your wonderful blogs. I want to thank each of you for your faithful participation, support, friendship and blog love through these years. YOU are Full Plate Thursday and without YOUR fabulous food we would not have the wonderful party that we have today. From the bottom of my heart Thank YOU So Much, ya'll are so special to me, love and hugs to all!

Background Story For Full Plate Thursday

When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the month. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".
