I don't have a recipe to share, but I'm looking forward to finding some delicious ones. I was just telling my sister yesterday that Chili season was here, and I needed a good recipe. My chili has always been a little lacking of something.
ReplyDeleteMiz Helen, but how to email you?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any recipe of Texas chilli either, but I wanted to invite you to help me with international Apple Pie collection.
Excellent cookoff! I just linked my favorite chili! I also added your button to my blog. I made a chili just last week but won't be posting it for another week or two. I'll be sure to let my readers know to enter your chili cook off so hopefully you'll get a lot of participants!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a chili link up! I'm looking forward to reading all the posts:)
ReplyDeleteI love a good chili cookoff! I included my vegetarian chili, which isn't really a Texas chili (I have one of those too), but it's immensely popular, healthy, easy to make, and it tastes good!
ReplyDeleteI added another chili...I hope that's ok. :) This one is vegetarian - maybe even vegan. Perfect for fall...in fact I might just have to make it again today.
ReplyDeleteHi! I just linked up my chili recipe and have enjoyed checking out the other recipes that are linked up!
ReplyDeleteJust posted my "Chili to Last Through the Winter"--it's a vegan version of my most filling, comforting, winter-weather chili! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Hi! Miz Helen! I will be linking one up later this week. I am making my chili before my son's football practice on Wednesday, so i will send it over after that! Love this idea!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be back soon!!
By the way, if you are a gingerbread house maker, I will be hosting a fun contest for the most creative gingerbread house in December!!
Hi Miz Helen! Oh, it's getting to be great chili weather, isn't it? ;-) I linked my chili with the mushrooms, a vegetarian chili that even my carnivore husband loves. The baby bella mushrooms give it just enough of a meaty taste. It's packed full of protein and tasty goodness. I've grown to love this recipe more than traditional chili. :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Shirley
Hi Miz Helen. I shared my Beef & Buffalo Chili with Goats Eye beans. It's really filling with lower fat content and all gluten and dairy free.
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen,
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add my name but I shared my crockpot veg. chili with chocolate ;)
Hey Miz Helen!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea - a great place to get some yummy recipes for chili. And some amazing ideas for additions to your chili recipe. I have yet to create my own and write it down so for now I'll just enjoy everyone's pictures and recipes!
Mz Helen, do not cook anymore but love your residents.
ReplyDeleteSo Cute!!!!!!
What a great idea! Now I know where to come next time I want a chili recipe.
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen! I LOOOVE chili but unfortunately I don't have a recipe done up, but I might be doing one soon because you are so persuasive. What I can do is feature your cook off on my thoughts on friday link love at a moderate life to help spread the word there is fire in the hole! so check in at my site on friday and say hi! :) big hugs! Alex
ReplyDeleteP.S. I also tweeted your cook off and put a review up on stumble upon!
ReplyDeleteMy Chili and Beans is based on my Oma's recipe, from a Texas Hill Country town founded by German immigrants. Even though I don't live there anymore, this chili takes me back every time we have it.
ReplyDeletePat
I'm so sorry I didn't manage to get my name in the linky! Sometimes I'm very un-coordinated with those links! Mine is the Chuck Wagon Chow - a recipe from my Mom's recipe box that she never actually made, but that has just recently been named our new family favourite :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Around My Family Table and inviting me to join your cookoff! I just entered my 10 can chili recipe!!!
ReplyDeleteI did it! I linked up my recipe tonight. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI entered my latest chili recipe: Lentil and Cauliflower Chili. I know it is weird, but I love cauliflower in my chili.
ReplyDeleteI love a good chili competition! Thanks for hosting such a fun idea. You can put my chili in the with meat category (I'm not sure where I was supposed to list that). It's very beefy. haha.
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen!! I linked up my Pumpkin Sweet Potato Ale Chili for the Round-up! I love this contest and cannot wait to see who the winners are of each category!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
