Canned Pickle Pot Pickles
If you are a Pickle Pot Fan you are going to love this easy recipe for the Pickle Pot Pickles. I like to clean my Pickle Pot out about every three months and start over with fresh cucumbers and spices. However I am not about to throw away those great pickles, so one day I decided why not can them, just look how it turned out. We just love these pickles and so does everyone that I have given them to. I am very excited to share this new recipe with all of you today.

Makes One Pint
Pour 1 pint of the contents of the pickle pot into a medium sauce pan. Bring the pickle mixture to a full boil, then remove from the heat and pack into hot sterilized jar or jars. Process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes, remove from water bath and allow to cool. Make sure that the jar or jars are sealed before storing in a cool dry area.
I started this process last season and I gave some as Christmas Gifts and 1 jar I saved to open for my recent picnic, it was a  year old and it was delicious. This is one of the easiest canning recipes that I have ever made. I sure hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.

  1. I'm somewhat terrified of the whole canning process. I tried it once, failed, and never tried it again. But I think I'll have to attempt it again soon. My kids would LOVE to see the process. And eat the pickles! :) Maybe this summer.

  6. Two questions! How do you have left over pickles? Do I have to let them set for 2 weeks before canning? If so I'll have to hide them.

  7. Hi Beverly,
I am lol, there have been times when I would have had to hide them in order to can them. I would wait the two weeks as that allows those seasons to really set with the onion, garlic and cucumber. They are really delicious!
    Happy Pickling!
