Great that you posted this.Since dried tomatoes appeared here being over realy overexpansive..my mother started making them the way you do.And I am doing that aswell.And find mine tatse even better as I spice them up with best olive oil and herbs I like;)

ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law used to do this with her tomatoes (and also figs!) in Italy. Drying them makes the flavor so wonderfully intense. Thanks for a wonderfu, and easy tutorial on how to do this!

I have some tomatoes left on the vine...and I know what I am doing tomorrow morning. My house will smell just sensational!I usually freeze my oven roasted tomatoes, but I am putting it in a jar! YEA!
