I am so excited to see you here today. I know that you have been working very hard on your chili recipe for this years cook off. We had some really great chili in the 2010 Cook Off, but I know that it will be even better this year. Thank you so much for bringing your wonderful chili to share with us today and come back soon!
In addition to having the honor of The Texas Star Chili Cook-Off Winner for 2011 the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com

Hello Helen, Thank you for hosting the chili cook-off! I love our version of this favorite Fall food ("Real Good Chili"), but trying new variations is half the fun!

ReplyDeleteGreat contest. I submitted the Texas Chuck Wagon Brisket Chili. The chili has an excellent smoky flavor and makes a huge batch that is perfect for a party.

Chili is a staple at our house when the cold weather hits and Game Day Chili is one of the best versions I've come up with.

It's my mama's and she's won SEVERAL chili cookoffs with it....but, as a result, it's a time-honored family secret so I can't share the recipe, only the chili itself. :-( But, instead I'm entering another tasty chili recipe....White Lightning Chunky Chicken Chili! Yay! I completely forgot you were having a Chili Cookoff. I've been so busy lately and haven't had a lot of time to visit my fav. bloggers, that will soon pass though once college football season is over. Anyway, all these Chili Recipes look fantastic! Thanks for hosting! :)
