Apple Blueberry Crumb Pie
I just love going to the Farmers Market and finding fresh fruits and vegetables its always an adventure that leads to a great dish. I found these wonderful apples and blueberries at our local Farmers Market and decided to make a Crumb Pie. I just love the apple and blueberry combination and with the crumb topping it is so good, hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
Crust
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
Filling
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch
3 cups blueberries
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
dash salt
Topping
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
In a large bowl, toss the peeled sliced apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt make sure the apples are covered with the spice and sugar mix
Fit the unbaked crust into a 9 inch pie pan
Pour 1 1/2 cups of the blueberries into the bottom of the crust
Add the remainder of the 1 1/2 of blueberries to the apples
Pour the apples and blueberries into the crust
Blend the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter until it is in crumbles, add the pecans
Sprinkle the topping over the pie, making sure it is completely covered
Bake at 400 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is browned
If the topping is browning to fast in your oven then cover the top with foil until the apples are tender
Let cool before slicing (if you can)
