Whats For Dinner Next Week 3-2-14

Happy March!

Finally Spring will come soon!  We have sure enjoyed all the wonderful garden vegetables that we preserved last year from our garden and now we are so excited to begin that process again. I recently inventoried my pantry making sure about how many of those wonderful jars of goodness that we have left. Looks like we will have enough green beans to make it until we pick beans again, yeah! I always like to take a look at the pantry before I plan the menu for the week, then I will take a look in the freezer to check out the inventory there. How about you are you using home canned or frozen vegetables this winter?

  6. I need to do better with checking for what I already have before planning. Too many times, I have a meal in mind only to find that I am short something crucial. Those apple hand pies on your menu for this week look really good!

  7. Menu looks awesome Miz Helen. Love your menus, reminds me of home so much. Am going to have to try out the new potatoes and green beans. Sounds really good. Oh, I found a place to buy brisket, can you believe it. Bought it and cooked a couple of weeks ago, hubby said it was the best he's had. YEAH! As a bonus, he just bought a new smoker so am sure we will be having some more brisket this week end, with ribs. YUM! Texas style here in California.
