Lauren's Jar Smoothie

My Granddaughter Lauren and Great Granddaughter Ella June have been at the cottage for a summer visit and we spent some fun times in the kitchen.  Lauren made us her special Jar Smoothie several times while she was here and we just love her recipe.  It is very refreshing and just loaded with wonderful fruits and vegetables. It is ready to serve in no time and served in cute little Mason Jars ready to transport outside to the patio.  Of course if you prefer it can be served in a pretty glass with a sprig of mint, either way it is awesome!

  2. I make a smoothie very similar to this one but hadn't thought to use Chiaseeds. I use goji berries instead. I love the idea of serving in little mason jars. Great job, Lauren and Ella June! It seems as though you'll be lucky enough to inherit your Grandmother's skills in the kitchen. What a lovely post, Miz Helen - thanks so much for sharing!

  6. I love the looks of the smoothie, but I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't like strawberries or blueberries.
