Pickled Tabasco Juice with Spinach and Apple
Juicing is very popular today and a healthy way to have your fruits and vegetables, so the folks over at Williams-Sonoma are having Juice Week. I love going to the garden gathering a few herbs and vegetables then making a nice glass of juice. I have made a very different juice for you to try today, it really is "Not Your Average Juice", and certainly not for the faint of heart. Part of the ingredients came from our winter garden and the Pickled Tabasco Peppers come from summer canning.

Serves 16 ounces
Ingredients
2 cups spinach, cleaned and dried
1 Gala Apple, with peel
2 pickled Tabasco Peppers
1/8 teaspoon juice from the Pickled Peppers
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
Directions
Wash and dry the spinach. Remove the stems and place into a blender or juicer.
Wash and dry the apple. Slice the apple in half and remove the core. Slice 1/4 of the apple for garnish and chop the remainder of the apple and place in the blender or juicer.
Add 2 pickled Tabasco Peppers and 1/8 teaspoon of the juice.
Add 2 tablespoons honey.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
Liquefy the ingredients until completely smooth. Add more water it you would like it thinner.
If the heat is to much for you add more honey.
Garnish with the apple slices.
Enjoy!
Recipe Tip:
If you don't have home canned Pickled Tabasco Peppers they can be purchased at most food markets.

Pickled Tabasco Juice with Spinach and Apple is "Not Your Average Juice", but I sure hope you enjoy it. I for one have got the juicing bug so I'm headed over to Williams-Sonoma to pick out a wonderful new juicer.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a fantastic week and come back real soon!
Peace and Joy
