Taco Balls
When I start thinking about party or snack food, I want it to be something that can go anywhere and be enjoyed anytime of the year. This is one of those recipes and I have had so much fun developing it. My official taster (aka Honey) has loved every one of these Taco Balls. I know when he says to me "I am not quiet sure yet maybe I better have another one just to make sure", yeah you guessed it, he loves the recipe at that point! I am excited to share this with you today.
This Taco Ball Is Full Of Flavor
Taco Balls

Ingredients
For The Meat Mix
1 pound ground chuck
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
For The Dough
2 cups prepared baking mix (I use Bisquick)
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
In a medium skillet brown the ground chuck.
Add the chili powder, garlic powder, salt and cayenne pepper, then mix well.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the baking mix, garlic powder, cumin powder and cayenne pepper, then mix well.
Add the browned chuck to the baking mix and mix well.
Add the milk to the mix and mix well
Stir in the cheese until the dough has come together and the cheese has been incorporated.
With a tablespoon dipper form 29 to 30 balls.
Place the Taco Balls on a cookie sheet and bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes until just starting to brown on top.
Remove from oven and let set for 15 minutes before serving.
Serve with your favorite Salsa, (Garden to Table Canned Salsa)
Recipe Tip:
These will freeze for up to 3 months.
