Patriotic Door Wreath
I love to hang a lovely wreath on my door.It is always so warm and inviting and here at the cottage very seasonal. I have made many wreaths through the years and always try to keep them from season to season, add to them and just keep using them. In time however they begin to wear and must go by the wayside. Last year I retired my Patriotic Door Wreath, so this year I get to make a new one and thought you might like to help me out with that project.
Flowers and Ribbons On A Grapevine Wreath
We Started With The Grapevine Wreath
As A Base
I Just Love The Texture of The Vines With The Flowers and Ribbon
Next I Wrapped Red Net Loosely Around
The Wreath
I Love The Soft Effect Of The Net
Peeking Through
It's Time To Add
The Red, White and Blue Shasta Daises
Trim Off The Stem With A
Really Sharp Pair Of Cutters
These Are Added With The Hot Clue Gun
Which I Always Keep On
A Very Old Baking Sheet
Just Keep Adding Flowers
This Is So Much Fun!
Now It's Time To Dress It Up With Some Ribbon
I Made 1 Red Bow, 1 White Bow, and 1 Blue Bow
The 3 Bows Were Tied Together
To Make 1 Large Bow
The Large Red, White and Blue Bow Was Then Attached To The Gold Bow
I Tie All My Bows and Never Use Any Wire
For This Kind of Bow
Then It Was Tied To The Grapevine
I have had so much fun making this new Patriotic Door Wreath and loved having you here with me to share. Projects are always more fun when shared with a friend. Hope you have a great week and come back to see me real soon!
Peace and Joy

Hooray for the red white and blue Miz Helen, your wreath is adorable, and I love the patriotic daisies! Great idea keeping the glue gun on an old baking sheet, I am going to start doing that!

Your wreath looks so patriotic and pretty, Miz Helen! I keep my glue gun in an old disposable aluminum pan. They do make a mess, don't they?
ReplyDeleteYour wreath looks so lovely! You did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous colorful wreath!! I really like it
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and patriotic! I love an asymmetrical wreath - and especially like the way you balanced the left side with a curl of the gold ribbon on the right. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I love this wreath.
