Watermelon Lemonade Float
When it is hot outside there is nothing better than to sit in the late evening and enjoy a refreshing Watermelon Lemonade Float. We love watermelon and as most of you know my husband has to have his Ice Cream every evening. This is a great float that is easy to put together and has a great combination of flavors. (Be sure and put an extra dip of Ice Cream, and why not?) Rest a while and enjoy!

Watermelon Lemonade Float

Ingredients
6 cups seedless watermelon
3/4 cups lemon juice
2/3 cups sugar
3 cups water
Ice Cream For Each Serving
Directions
Put the watermelon into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and liquid. There will be some pulp in the mix and leave it that's part of what makes it so thick and delicious.
Mix the lemon juice, sugar and water together until the sugar is dissolved.
Mix the lemonade mix with the watermelon and chill until very cold.
Before serving place one dip of Ice Cream (or more) into the bottom of the glass and fill with the Watermelon Lemonade.
Garnish with a lemon slice and or mint.
Enjoy!
Relax and Enjoy The Time!
I hope you are able to stop for a bit at the end of the day and enjoy a little relaxation time with someone special. I always enjoy the time we spend with you when you stop by the cottage to visit. Thanks so much for the visit today and come back to see us real soon!

ReplyDeleteBoth watermelon and lemonade are so refreshing, and I bet they'd be super refreshing together! And of course, you can't go wrong with adding a bit of ice cream. :)
