Spicy Pecan Custard Pie
Our Spicy Pecan Custard Pie is a combination of a custard and some great sweet and spicy pecans. The pecans used in this recipe give the pie a great flavor that will surprise and wake up your taste buds with a special treat. The pie has a crunchy top with a very creamy inside then a bite of spice that will have you asking for seconds!

Ingredients
1- unbaked 9 inch pie crust
Pie Filling
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon all spice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
Place your pie crust in the pie tin and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, stir together the sugar, cinnamon all spice, cayenne pepper and salt.
Place the pecans into the mixture and toss them until completely covered.
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of the spice mixture on the bottom of the pie crust.
Place the seasoned pecans into the bottom of the pie crust.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, syrup, well beaten eggs, and vanilla. Whisk in the remainder of the spice mixture. Whisk until the mixture is creamy.
Very carefully pour the custard over the pecans into the pie crust.
Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.
Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with Whipped Cream.
Refrigerate the pie after serving.
