Whats For Dinner Next Week 12-10-17

We actually had a little bit of snow this week, it didn't last long but it sure put us in the mood for a cozy fire and hot chocolate. It is sure starting to look a lot like Christmas around the cottage as we are putting the finishing touches on our decorating. I am thinking about warm cozy food for the meal plan this week because of the cold weather we are stating to have. I will have to bundle up and make a trip to the barn to see what we have in the cold bin and then stop off at the garden to see what fresh greens I can use. Lets get going so we can have our hot chocolate!

  2. I did not know you could freeze those mini quiches. There are on my to-do list. And... I am thinking cheesey dill biscuits.

  4. It all looks yummy but those parm. crusted potatoes and caramel chocolate pecan bars look amazingly so! Pinned them both!

  5. I enjoyed seeing the excitement of friends in Texas and Louisiana who got a little snow. It's fun when it's rare and doesn't last long. Here in Southeastern Oklahoma we tend to get freezing rain and ice before we get any snow so it's pretty treacherous. A little light, fluffy snow that lasts one day is fine but I can do without ice!

I make a vegetable soup with dumplings but hadn't ever thought of cornbread dumplings. Sounds delicious!

  6. We had a bit of snow this week too, Miz Helen! It's melted here now, although some parts of the UK still have it. As always, your menu looks amazing. I particularly like the Parmesan Crusted potatoes and that lovely walnut crumble on the Pear Crisp! I hope you are enjoying the run up to the holidays. Thank you so much for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party!
