Italian Ricotta Cake
I love a cake recipe that is light and can be paired with some mixed berries and that is exactly what this cake is. This is a simple recipe that is very smooth and delicious garnished with fresh fruit. I have made this cake for ladies luncheons, and family dinners, it is a great recipe that we really enjoy!

ReplyDeleteLooks so delicious- especially with all the lovely berries on top
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cake, Miz Helen, and I can just imagine the lovely flavour and texture it has from the ricotta cheese! Your presentation is beautiful too with the berries.
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I have never heard of grated apple in a Ricotta Cheesecake, Miz Helen! No wonder I keep printing out your recipes...and (your recipes only, seriously) because you have the most vintage, and original versions that no one else has. Ricotta cheesecake is so much lighter than the cream cheese one, and the addition of the apples brings it over the top!
ReplyDeleteMiz Helen - that is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHelen, that looks so good. I love desserts that aren't super sweet, but still quench that sweet tooth. Thanks for sharing at the What's for Dinner party - Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI am dying for a slice of this cake and a cup of coffee. I love the idea of the ricotta in tjere. I need to bake with more ricotta!
