Fall Salsa
We love a great salsa here at the cottage and this Fall Salsa is so versatile and delicious that I actually keep some on hand in the refrigerator and have used it in so many different ways. This salsa is a blend of fall fruit and a flavorful dressing that make it a real hit!
This Salsa Starts With Fresh Fall Fruits
Add A Nice Dressing

Ingredients
1 medium gala apple, chopped, skin on
1 medium granny smith apple, chopped, skin on
1 large pear, chopped, peeled
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
Directions
Place all the chopped fruit and dried fruit into a large mixing bowl.
In a pint fruit jar, add the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, cinnamon, thyme, salt, pepper and brown sugar.
Place the lid on the jar and shake until completely mixed and the mixture is creamy.
Pour the dressing over the fruit and mix well.
Cover the salsa and place in the refrigerator, chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
The salsa will keep in the refrigerator covered, for at least 1 week.
