Chocolate Lemon Bites
These Chocolate Lemon Bites are just perfect for an afternoon tea with a friend. Rich little bites of lemon and chocolate for a perfect size little treat. Several little pieces of white chocolate in every bite with a hint of lemon plus the size of our Chocolate Lemon Bites will let you have more than one. What a great way to enjoy a special day with a very delicious little treat!

Chocolate Lemon Bites
Miz Helen's Kitchen
Makes 36 to 40 Bites
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1-3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
2 teaspoons lemon zest
Directions
In a small mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In an electric mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg, milk, lemon juice and milk. Mix well until completely blended.
Add the flour mixture and mix together.
Stir in white chips and lemon zest.
Using the tablespoon scoop, drop the dough onto an un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until the edges start to turn brown.
Cool on a cooling rack until ready to serve.
Enjoy!
