Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich
This recipe brings together so many wonderful flavors that just make this a very special grilled chicken sandwich. I love to be able to grill out side, but if it is bad weather this recipe can always be made on a table top or stove top grill. This recipe can be made for two or twenty, its that easy and so very delicious! We recently served the sandwich to a crowd and it was a big hit!

Ingredients
4 chicken breast, boneless,skinless
1 large can sliced pineapple in juice, do not drain
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 large red onion, sliced thick
4 onion or hamburger buns
Directions
Drain the pineapple juice into a mixing pitcher and add the teriyaki sauce.
Place the chicken into a large bowl to marinate. Salt and pepper the chicken, then pour 1/2 of the teriyaki mixture over the chicken, making sure the chicken is covered well with the marinate. Pour the remaining marinate into a glass jar and refrigerate. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.
Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and place on a hot grill. Baste with the remainder of the un-used teriyaki mixture.
Place the pineapple and onion on the grill and baste with the teriyaki mixture.
Cook the chicken until it is completely done and cook the pineapple and onion until it begins to caramelize and show grill marks.
Remove the chicken, pineapple and onion from the grill.
Very quickly grill the buns and remove to a tray.
Build The Sandwich
Start with the grilled bun, add a generous amount of the Asian Broccoli Slaw, then the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, the Grilled Pineapple and last the Grilled Onion then top it with the bun top and enjoy!
