Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
If you are coming home from a busy day, the smell of this Slow Cooker Pepper Steak will greet you at the door. This is a easy recipe to put into the cooker and let it do the work for you while you are busy with other task. The flavor of this recipe is delicious with a perfect blend of spice and liquid. The steak is so tender it can be cut with a fork and the gravy, oh my goodness it is fantastic!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Ingredients
2 pounds round steak, cut into 2 inch strips
2 teaspoons season salt
2 teaspoons pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
2 tablespoons beef broth base, paste
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, do not drain
1 large onion, large chop
1 green bell pepper, cut in strips
1 yellow bell pepper, cut in strips
1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
Directions
Mix the seasoned salt and pepper together and sprinkle the mix over the steak strips.
Heat the olive oil and seasame oil in a hot skillet. Brown the strips a few at a time and place into the slow cooker.
In a mixing pitcher mix the garlic, soy souce, worchestershire, beef broth base, water and cornstarch. Mix until completely blended.
Pour the stewed tomatoes into the mix and stir together.
Pour the mix on top of the steak strips.
Place the chopped onions on top of the liquid mix.
Place the pepper strips on top of the liquid mix.
Place the lid on the cooker and cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
At the end of the cooking period remove the lid and stir well.
Keep on warm until ready to serve.
We like to serve the Pepper Steak on Mashed Potatoes or Rice.
