Whats For Dinner Next Week,2-16-20
Lets get this meal plan started, we have had such a great week. We had a "just the two of us" very special Valentine evening, it was great, thanks to my loving husband! It has been very cold and rainy, we have had 6.5 inches of rain here at the cottage, it is great for the lake, but the crawfish are crawling up out of my yard. I will have to make some crawfish pie. Looking forward to a great meal plan for next week!

Such wholesome food. I am really jealous, my husband does all the cooking but not very often totally from scratch. We really need to start meal planning, our weekly food shop seems to be getting out of hand. Would you ever suggest batch cooking?
ReplyDeleteHi Karen Langridge,
DeleteWhen I was working full time out of the home, we did batch cooking on Sunday afternoon. We would all get in the kitchen and cook together, it was a great family time and when we came out we had meals for at least 5 days. It sure helps with time management and the budget. When doing meal prep, lots of recipes can be inter-changed. it really can be a fun and productive project with a great healthy meals for the week. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy cooking!

I'm so glad you had a cozy Valentines Day, and can relate to the rain...we are very soggy in Alabama too! Your Brussels sprouts salad with warm bacon dressing sounds heavenly!

Your menu sounds wonderful, Miz Helen! Thank you for adding My Favorite Casserole to your plan!! I'm glad that you and Leonard had a nice Valentine's Day. I fixed a wonderful meal, and ate it by myself, as my son was asleep, but I enjoyed every bite!!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that your cherry cobbler is calling my name!
ReplyDeleteSo many choices!! Everything looks and sounds amazing! Shared on Facebook - Thanks for sharing at last week's What's for Dinner party. Hope to see you this week - and have a fabulous day!
