Full Plate Thursday, 495
Welcome to Full Plate Thursday and our Top Ten Features Week! I am so excited to see you today and can't believe that we have come to the last week in July already. After 18 days of quarantine I have finally escaped the confines of my home. My husband is doing well and beginning to gain more strength and I am so grateful that I never did get the virus, never had a temperature, never had not one single symptom. God has been so good to protect me and many thanks to all of you for the many positive thoughts and prayers, I shall be forever grateful! Now to try and get caught up on my blog and other pressing issues that one gets behind on when sickness comes into our home. I hope ya'll will forgive me I have tried to visit most of you but can't seem to find the time to visit as many as I would like. I couldn't even find time to make an extra post this week, but this is a very important post for all of us! I can't wait to see what you will be bringing to the party today and thanks so very much for coming today!

Full Plate Thursday Background Story
When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the month. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".
