Whats For Dinner Next Week, 7-12-20
I had started this meal plan post earlier in the week and now I am hoping to get it finished on time to share with all of you. As I sit here in my office it is very quiet now and it reminds me of doing work after the kids were in bed when they were still home. My husband is very ill, he has been diagnosed with Covid 19, so our life will be a little different now for a bit, until he is healed and feeling good again. He is still at home and we are grateful for that, I am trying to protect my self as best I can and still be his caretaker. He has a journey ahead but he is a strong man and we know that he will overcome the virus. We will sure appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers as we take this journey.

Weekend Brunch
Life sometimes throws us a curve ball and we have to flex it out, and that is exactly what I will be doing this week and for some weeks to come I am sure. I am going ahead with the meal plan that I had in place and it may just turn out that I don't have to change any meals because of my husbands illness. What are some of the things that you flex out when someone in your home is ill? I would really love some of your suggestions!
Peace and Joy

God bless both of y'all; you are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your husband is ill; I will definitely be thinking of you both and wishing him a speedy and full recovery. I tend to fall back to lots of soups and bland foods when someone in our house is ill. Particularly chicken soup as I find it's one thing I want to eat when I'm sick.
ReplyDeletePrayers are coming your way. Stay strong.
