Welcome to Full Plate Thursday, so excited to see you here today! Hope all of you had a safe & fun weekend and now we are looking forward to a wonderful fall. I have been looking over fall recipes and I get hungry just thinking about all the wonderful cozy food that we will be enjoying in the next few months. Full Plate Thursday Background Story
When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the month. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".

Good morning, Miz Helen! I hope that you and your sweetheart are still doing ok. I am so honored to be one of your features this morning!! I saw your state fair recipe for funnel cakes and corn dogs...fun! I used to make funnel cakes for my kids, and I should make them again for my grandkids. Thank you for hosting and sharing with us.
