We made it through the winter storm and today the sun is shinning. Last week at this time we had no power and no water. Thankfully my husband and I are experienced campers and we were well prepared for the storm. We had plenty of food and water, then some great friends brought us a generator that allowed us to power a space heater for one room of the house, we were warm and cozy. I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers for all of us here in Texas. We still have a ways to go, there are many who still do not have power or water. We are still on a boil your water order, but that's better than no water at all. We saw the very best in the people of Texas, neighbor helping neighbor, church helping church and a natural bond that brings folks together when they walk through a disaster together. Thank you God, we made it!
Thank you so much for featuring my cupcakes! What a great photo of you two all bundled up. I am so glad that you managed so well weathering out the storm.
