This Fresh Strawberry Freezer Pie is a great pie to have in the freezer for a dessert that is always ready to go. This pie recipe is so easy to put together and it is delicious. I like to keep a couple of these pies in the freezer for unexpected guest or a family dessert on a lazy evening. The pie is very rich with a garnish of whipped cream on the fresh strawberry filling that is in a nutty crust making this a very special pie.
Making A Fresh Strawberry Freezer Pie
We are starting the recipe with a plate full of
diced strawberries sprinkled with sugar.
We will add the diced strawberries
to the pudding mixture.
Our crust couldn't be easier, a ready made
chocolate nut pie crust with walnuts and pecans!
Pour the very thick pie filling into
the pie curst and smooth the top of the filling!
Secure the plastic lid on top of the
pie and place it into the freezer.
It will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Remove the pie from the freezer and allow to
thaw a little before slicing for serving.

We are in the middle of strawberry season here. I think I will make this luscious pie before the season ends.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a cool and refreshing dessert. I’ve never tried one of those chocolate crusts that have the nuts in them. I’ll have to look for them.
ReplyDeleteI love a dessert that I can put in the freezer and have when company comes and this one fits the bill. It sounds yummy and easy to make.

Miz Helen, your Strawberry Freezer Pie looks delicious. What a lovely, refreshing summer dessert. Thank you for sharing it with Hearth and Soul! I hope your week is going well.
ReplyDeleteThis is a super cool idea. Just right for the season and would love to try this delicious pie.
ReplyDeleteI am gluten free so I probably can't use that pie crust. I've never seen it, however, so I probably can use a gluten free graham cracker crust. Although the chocolate sounds yummy with the frozen pie. Maybe I can make a chocolate one myself, I guess. But thank you for this! It sounds delicious and easy too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing and super delicious looking.
