How To Make Italian Pesto Sliders
This Slider Has Several Layers of Goodness!
We start this recipe with 9 Hawaiian Slider Buns.
We harvest and freeze our pesto so
we have it ready and handy in the freezer.
Carefully remove the tops and then spread the bottoms with Sweet Basil Pesto.
Layer 3, Round Slices of Salami
Layer 4, Pepperoni Rounds
Layer 5, Sliced Provolone
Place The Top On The Sliders
Place In The Oven To Bake
While The Slider Are In The Oven Melt The Butter and Add Pesto
When The Sliders Come Out Of The Oven
Brush The Tops With The Butter and Pesto Mix

Italian Pesto Sliders
Our Italian Pesto Sliders are delicious. The recipe uses fresh homemade pesto and layers of Italian goodness. These sliders are a hit for parties or a family supper.
Ingredients
- 1 (9 bun package) of Hawaiian Sliders
- 9 teaspoons, basil pesto
- 9 small slices baked ham
- 9 small slices Salami
- 9 small rounds of Pepperoni
- 9 small slices of Provolone
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup green stuffed olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup banana peppers, sliced
- 1./2 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoonsbasil pesto for butter mix
- Marinara Sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Place the Hawaiian Rolls on a foil covered baking sheet pan.
- Remove the tops to a holding plate and set aside.
- Spread 1 teaspoon of the basil pesto on the bottom of the bun.
- Layer the, sliced ham, salami, pepperoni, Provolone on top of the pesto covered bun.
- In a small bowl mix the olives, and banana peppers.
- Sprinkle the olive and pepper mix over the cheese.
- Place the tops on the sliders
- Place the baking sheet of sliders into the oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and brush the tops of the sliders with the melted butter and pesto.
- Serve hot.
- Serve the Marinara Sauce on the side.
- The sliders can be made ahead of time and baked later.
- Melt the butter in a small sauce pan and at the 2 tablespoons of pesto. Remove from the heat and let set for 15 minutes.
