Mixed Berry Breakfast Bake
Mixed Berry Breakfast Bake is a great recipe for any special brunch group, or just a family weekend brunch. We love fresh berries in a breakfast bake it gives such a special fresh taste and look. I love making this recipe for our gang here at the cottage, especially when all of our berry bushes are producing in the spring of the year. This is a very easy recipe to prepare and can be made the day of, no overnight wait. Just garnish with a dollop of Yogurt and serve, it is delicious!

How To Make Mixed Berry Breakfast Bake
I am starting this recipe with 12 cups of day old French Bread, cut into cubes. Then placed into a buttered baking pan.
Sprinkle 2 cups of chopped cooked ham over
the top of the cubed bread.
I am using some wonderful fresh free range eggs from my neighbor.
We pour the batter over the top of the bread and ham,
making sure to cover the entire top of the dish.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap then place the dish into the refrigerator for 45 minutes. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, then remove it to a cooling rack.
Cover the top of the dish with the mixed berries.
Place the dish back in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack
for 15 minutes before serving.
