Skillet Green Beans With Lemon Sauce
We have had a great green bean harvest this year. We have had green beans to can and green beans from the garden to the table and this is one of those recipes. This has so far been my favorite fresh green bean recipe for this summer, it is so easy and the flavors are amazing! A recipe that is very simple with the sauce just perfect for fresh green beans. This recipe may just be my winner for the summer garden season. A great one from garden to table!
These Green Beans are definitely ready to serve.

How To Make
Skillet Green Beans With Lemon Sauce
Fresh Green Beans right out of our garden.
Beans were washed and dried, in our outdoor kitchen before coming in the house. I snapped the beans and visited with a friend that stopped in to have a cup of tea and visit.
The green beans are sautéed in a very hot skillet
with some red pepper flakes.
We are adding some chopped onion and garlic, along
with a few other seasons.
Next we add the butter and lemon juice.

A great garden to table recipe!
Enjoy!
I am always so excited to present one of our garden to table recipes. There is something really special about putting that seed in the ground and many months later we can harvest the vegetable, give it a special recipe and then share it with all of you. Thanks so much for stopping by the cottage today and have a wonderful week!
Peace and Joy

These sound wonderful and fresh from your garden is even better!
ReplyDeleteI love green beans but only two recipes for them. This sounds like one we will definitely want in our rotation!
ReplyDeleteCan this recipe be prepared with canned or frozen green beans?
ReplyDeleteI am sure you could use the onion, lemon and spice, you would need to reduce the cooking time for the canned and the frozen. You would not have the same kind of caramelization process that makes the sauce so good. I am sure it would be good, just different. Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the green beans!
