Full Plate Thursday, 600
Full Plate Thursday, number 600, what a mile stone! I want to thank each one of you who have helped us to get to this place with this linky party. The party would never have made it to this point without your loyal support. I am so excited that you are here today to celebrate with us!
Full Plate Thursday Through The Years
When I first started Full Plate Thursday almost 12 years ago, there were a few food linky parties, but really not that many. From the beginning, we had great participation from the blogging community that remains to this day. Many of the parties began to open the links to crafts, travel, and any kind of life activity, and I made the decision to keep this party around food and the family table. One of the things that I did in the beginning and for many years was to leave a comment on every single linky entry, that was hard to keep up with sometime but I seemed somehow to get it done every week. I still visit each of the blogs that link and sometimes I am able to leave a comment, although so many times the comments are closed today because so many folks get spam. The biggest goal I had was to make sure that the party would open every single week and we have achieved that goal, in all the years we have never missed one single week! The blogging world and the internet change all of the time and we have to change with it as all of you know. Many people have closed their link parties for SEO and other reasons, so once again we are placed in a change. I will continue to post the party as long as God blesses me with the good health that I have today, it truly is one of my joy's to visit with you every week!

ReplyDeletePhew! At first I thought you were going to say you weren't going to be hosting anymore. I'm so glad that even with 600 parties you're willing to keep it going. I might not participate much (since I don't share a lot of recipes anymore) but I do love seeing what everyone else contributes.
