Full Plate Thursday, 601
Welcome to Full Plate Thursday! August has brought us some cooler temperatures and the hope of rain. Our local school teachers and administration have been back to work for a week now and the students will be joining them next week. Lots of folks are getting in a last minute get-away, school shopping and getting back into a routine for school. It truly is a transition time from the dog days of summer to the beginning of fall. I can't wait to see what you are bringing to share today. Thanks so much for coming to the party, we have saved you a place at the table!

ReplyDeleteHello Miz Helen! I'm so glad you are enjoying some cooler days. We are having a heatwave here, temperatures up in the nineties - which is a challenge as most homes don't have air conditioning! We've got a lovely breeze going through the house though as we have lots of windows and it's nice and cool in the shade of our garden. I've brought an old fashioned Easy Chocolate Cake, a recipe from a dear late friend, which is perfect for this hot weather as it's quick to make and quick to bake. Thank you for hosting and I hope you have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the party Miz Helen! I am thrilled to be a feature this week, thank you!
