Whats For Dinner Next Week, 9-11-22
As I think of making a meal plan this week, it is a somewhat different process. As I check the weather, then take a look at our personal cottage calendar I get a better picture of when I want to cook certain dishes.
My husband has made a recent decision to retire at long last. I think this is the 4th time he has retired and each time someone out there in the working world has convinced him that he was needed for just a little while longer. This time his body and his Dr. told him it would be in his best interest to begin to relax a little more and let his body last longer. I am of course delighted to have him home and looking forward to enjoying the rest of our life together.
My heart is very sad at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She was my hero when I was a young girl and remained so until this very day, may she rest in everlasting peace.
