Pumpkin Spice Butter Board

I love the idea of the butter board for an informal gathering. I had some friends dropping by for coffee and presented this butter board, it was a big hit and so easy to put together. Some soften butter, special spice mix, and garnish with some fruit and fresh herbs. I am serving it with my Spice Cake Poppers, and it is a great combination!

How To Make A Pumpkin Spice Butter Board

Start With 1/2 cup butter, soften to room temperature.

I am adding pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and a pinch of all-spice. Mix it up until it is creamy,

do a taste test and add more spice if you like.

I just used a cutting board that I had on hand,

as you can see it is not a new one.

I placed a tablespoon of the butter mixture

in different spots on the board.

Next just spread each of the little spots of butter.

Garnish your butter spreads with

chopped cranberries and fresh thyme.

Then place some of the poppers around the board.

Pumpkin Spice Butter Board a blend of butter & spices, garnished with dried fruit & fresh herbs. Presented on a board with Spice Cake Poppers.

Ingredients

Pumpkin Spice Butter

1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch all-spice
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped, for garnish
fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Pumpkin Spice Butter

Place the soften butter into a mixing bowl and add all the spice.
Mix all the spice into the butter until all of the spice has been incorporated.
Pour in the honey and then mix the honey with the butter until the honey is completely incorporated.
If you are not using right away, then refrigerate.
After applying the butter to a board, then garnish with chopped cranberries and fresh thyme leaves.
Serving with Spice Cake Poppers
