Tangy Lemon Cole Slaw
Tangy Lemon Cole Slaw has become a favorite here at the cottage. Its takes no time to make this slaw and it is ready for the table. The dressing for this slaw is full of great seasons and tangy lemon, just shake it in a jar and it is ready to drizzle over the slaw. There are no dairy products in the slaw so it will go to a summer picnic without a problem. It is quick, easy and delicious, perfect for a busy day!

How To Make Tangy Lemon Cole Slaw
Empty a (14 ounce) bag of Tri Color Cole Slaw Mix
into a mixing bowl.
I am adding chopped Red Delicious Apple
to the Cole Slaw mix.
I am making the Tangy Lemon Dressing
in one of my fruit jars.
Just pour all the dressing ingredients into the jar, place the lid on and shake until it is creamy.
Pour the Tangy Lemon Dressing over
the Cole Slaw and toss until incorporated.

Tangy Lemon Cole Slaw
A mix of cabbage, carrots, apples and onions. A dairy free dressing with tangy lemon , a delicious combination.
Ingredients
The Cole Slaw Mix
- 1 (14 ounce) bag tri-color Cole-Slaw Mix
- 1 medium Red Delicious Apple, chopped small
- 1 small red onion, chopped small
- 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
Tangy Lemon Dressing
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- dash Tabasco
Instructions
The Cole Slaw
- Place the Cole Slaw into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chopped apples and chopped onions.
- Toss the mixture well.
- Pour the Tangy Lemon Dressing over the Cole Slaw and toss well.
- Refrigerate any left overs after serving.
Tangy Lemon Dressing
- Pour all of the dressing ingredients into a fruit jar. Place the lid on the fruit jar and shake the ingredients until the mix is creamy.
- Pour over the Cole Slaw and mix well.
This is a flavorful combination for a Cole Slaw.
It is a year round Cole Slaw that
will be a great side for any occasion!
