September Food and Recipe Basket
What's In Season and How Do I Use It
September is a great month for fresh foods and the season invites us to turn to more fall like recipes. If the temperatures are normal with the normal amount of rain, our area will produce a full line up of the fruits and vegetables. What I really look at in September are the foods that will not be producing that much longer and I turn to the preserving and canning of those predominantly spring and summer products.
Canning and Preserving
Tomatoes
Canned Basil, Onion & Garlic Stewed Tomatoes
End Of Season Vegetable Combination's
Herbs
September Food Recipes
I am so happy that you could stop by and look at all the seasonal items in our August Food and Recipe Basket. I am looking forward to this month it looks like we will have some delicious food to choose from. Hope you enjoy your garden harvest and all the wonderful produce that you pick up at your farmers market. Have a fantastic week and come back to see us real soon!
Peace and Joy
