Welcome to my 10th publication of Gifts From Miz Helen's Kitchen. There is no more meaningful gift to me than one that is homemade. We are organic gardeners and we like to preserve most of our harvest every year and share it with others' along the way. We love sharing our homegrown goodness with others' at christmas along with some home baked goods. Homemade gifts are truly a labor of love. Christmas Candy From The Kitchen
My Mother was a great cook and she came from a long history of great southern cooks. She like any good cook had her favorite things that she liked to make. She loved sweets and she loved making candy at Christmas and of course we all loved eating it. One of her favorites that we all looked forward to was her Divinity.

ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure it must be to receive a gift from your kitchen! ❤️ Your divinity recipe brought back sweet memories of Christmas baking with my dad! He would make his famous fudge and divinity on a Friday evening each December and it was an annual event we always looked forward to! Thanks so much for evoking that sweet memory for me!
