Welcome to Full Plate Thursday, 697 and the month of June. We are going to have a great party today with the beginning of the summer season. We have some awesome features from last weeks party that I sure hope you enjoy. I love the summer food season from so many garden to table recipes and beautiful photo's of fresh foods. It is so good to see you here today, we have saved you a place at the table!

Cottage News
In the past few months we have had the 8th season with the most rain in recorded weather history here in our area. We have standing water on our property. We were able to plant tomatoes that are not doing very well. We were able to plant some peppers, and greens in the Veggie Pod that are doing well. There are still folks who have been without power for seven days. We currently have power which we are grateful for. On Monday, June 3, there were several tornado's on the ground near us, but we do not have any damage. Many thanks to all of you who have checked on us and prayed for us, we appreciate you so much!!

ReplyDeleteThe weather is definitely changing and everyone across the country is experiencing extremes. I'm so happy you have not had any damage. We have also had much more rain than usual but also periods of sunshine. We're grateful for that. thanks so much for featuring my Summer table setting today. Hope you have a quiet and dry week.
