Old Fashioned Apple Salad
Old Fashioned Apple Salad is one of my favorite salad's for any occasion. This is a recipe that has few ingredients and delivers a big flavor. This salad has been at our family gatherings for as long as I can remember. The salad brings back warm memories of family and friends.

How To Make Old Fashioned Apple Salad
apples, celery, pecans and golden raisins.

Old Fashioned Apple Salad
A great combination of fruit and nuts covered with a delicious dressing. A family favorite!
Ingredients
- 2 Gala Apples, chopped small
- 2 cups celery, chopped small
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup dried golden raisins
- 1 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, place the apples, celery, pecans and golden raisins. Toss together and set aside.
- In a mixing pitcher whisk together the mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, sugar and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until the dressing is completely smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the apples, celery, pecans and golden raisins. Toss together to cover the salad well.
- Place the salad into a serving dish, cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
This Old Fashioned Apple Salad is ready to serve.
