Cheddar Bay Sausage Balls
We love a great sausage ball appetizer. Sausage balls are easy to make and usually don't require a lot of ingredients. This recipe for sausage balls has just a few ingredients and takes no time until they are hot and coming out of the oven. We always have someone waiting for the first batch to come out of the oven. These sausage balls have a great flavor and have taken their place on our favorite list.

How To Make Cheddar Bay Sausage Balls
Crumble 1 pound of hot breakfast sausage
in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
into the mixing bowl on top of the sausage.
Place one cup of shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
on top of the biscuit mix.
Add 1/2 cup of water to the mix and
mix together until the sausage,
biscuit mix and cheese are combined.
Using a tablespoon scoop, scoop the sausage balls and place them on a parchment covered baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until the sausage balls are slightly brown on top.
Right before the sausage balls come out of the oven, prepare the melted butter and the little spice packet that is with the
biscuit mix. Mix the spice ingredients
with the melted butter until combined.
Brush the melted butter and spice mix on top of the sausage balls. Let rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.
