Winter Vegetable Garden
We have had a really good winter vegetable harvest this year. We planted in late September and early October. We were enjoying fresh turnips and greens and boiled cabbage just after the first of the year. We have really enjoyed our Veggie Pod this winter. It has offered us an abundance of salad greens.
Our Veggie Pod production has been amazing. We have enjoyed different varieties
of lettuce, rainbow swiss chard and kale.
It is so nice to go just outside my kitchen door to
the Veggie Pod and pick a green salad for my meal.
My Parsley Pot stays green all winter,
so I always have parsley for garnish!
still producing after the freeze in the Veggie Pod!

The Recipe For
This is what we expect to get up to on
Wednesday morning of this week.
There is a perfect stillness in the garden when it snows.
It reminds me of my favorite Bible verse.
"Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10
