Cheesy Beef Noodle Bake
Our Cheesy Beef Noodle Bake is a great comfort food for the family. This is a very easy recipe to prepare and delicious to eat. There is enough for seconds for the guys who have worked all day and are tired and hungry. Just add a salad and some garlic bread and you have a great meal. I have taken this casserole to many pot luck suppers and it is always a hit. I hope you and your family enjoy the recipe!

This Is How To Make Cheesy Beef Noodle Bake
Pour into a colander and allow to drain.
In a large heavy skillet, brown the ground chuck,
chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are clear and the meat is no longer pink.
Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Stir until completely incorporated. Reduce the heat and cook on low to simmer for about 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally insuring the mix does not stick to the pan.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cottage cheese, sour cream Colby Jack Cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder.
Place the cooked and drained noodles on top of the cheese mixture.
Mix the noodles with the cheese mixture.
Mix the noodles with the cheese mixture.
Mix very well making sure it is fully incorporated.
Spray a 9X13 baking dish with a cooking oil spray.
Pour 1/2 of the noodle mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
Top with 1/2 of the meat sauce.Then repeat the noodles and sauce.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes.
The cheese will be melted and just turning golden.

- 1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded for topping.
Cheese and Sauce Mixture
- 1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup Colby Jack Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Notes
This casserole can be frozen for up to 3 months.
